Blue skies and long sunny days sipping delicious chilled wine are only a few months away.
Everyone is talking about climate change. Here at St Ferréol, we enjoy more than 300 days of sunshine per year, with no terrible floods, we know how lucky we are!
Yes, the summers are getting hotter, and the weather is more unpredictable all around the World, but for us, the sunny holiday season lasts from April to November.
As many of you know, we installed air-conditioning in 2022 which has been much appreciated in the summer months.
This summer the Mediterranean was at 24 degrees at Robinson Crusoe Beach in Marseillan voted the cleanest and purest beach in France… a great spot to kick off your shoes and enjoy a fabulous beach day.

The pool has been retiled and Jorje’s wonderful viognier wine has won even more medals. We are also exceptionally proud to have been awarded a TERRA VITIS medal which shows our ongoing commitment to sustainable viticulture.
One of the best bits about going on holiday is buying local foods and produce, and this naturally has huge benefit to the environment by reducing carbon footprint. We love to support our local community and will be delighted to share with you a list of our favourite local food shops and markets for you to explore.
